Fund A Scholarship

At The Sisterhood of Sobriety, we are dedicated to breaking the cycle of addiction. We understand the unique challenges faced by women in early recovery, as they navigate the path towards healing and rebuilding their lives. Upon leaving an alcohol and drug rehabilitation facility, their first great hurdle is finding a safe, supportive environment that fosters sobriety, personal growth, and community connection. The second struggle is the cost of living in such a place. That holds especially true here in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The Sisterhood aims to bridge this gap by raising funds and allocating them specifically for “purpose-driven scholarships” that assist low-income women with paying a portion of their monthly rent at the Sisterhood. These funds generally offer 50% rent relief to the resident and are applied towards monthly operating expenses at our large sober living facility in the Tri-Valley Area. We call these rent scholarships “purpose-driven” because residents are asked to engage in volunteer work or professional skills building activities for 5 to 10 hours per week in exchange for this financial support. These activities are chosen by the woman based on her interests and are meant to help structure her time.

Please donate now to help a woman in need embark on a life-saving journey.
